The Rufftown singer sweep four solid awards: the coveted Artist of the Year award, Album of the Year for Bonyfied, and Afropop Song of the Year for ‘Sponsor’. Ebony e manager, Bullet, also win Songwriter of the Year for “Maame Hwe”. Sarkodie too win 4 awards.

Ebony both be the first female act to win Artist of the Year, as well as the first one to win am posthumously.

One award wey shock plenty people be “Song of the Year”. Patapaa e “One Corner” no win am. Instead, e go to Fancy Gadam for “Total Cheat”.

Joe Mettle, Amamerefo Music and Dance Ensemble, Dominic Quashie, den Mary Naa Amanua Doodo of Wulommei all win awards too, as well as Shatta Wale den e “Militants”, who win Best Collaboration of the Year for demma hit, “Taking Over”
